Welcome to the website and shop of 'Look How It Sparkles!"
The idea behind Look How It Sparkles! probably originally started when, as a little girl, I had a fascination with bright, shiny, sparkly beads!
Over the years this fascination grew into a passion; a passion for making bead jewellery and eventually the idea for Look How it Sparkles was born.
I am constantly trying to update the site and add more items, but as I hand-make everything, this does take a little longer than I would like!
I source the beads for my designs from all over the world - Ghanian glass beads from Africa, Cloisonne beads from China, stunning Swarovski Crystal beads from Austria, fabulous Venetian glass beads, Murano glass (lamp beads) and Millefiore beads from Italy and of course beautiful handmade foil beads from England.
Please bear in mind that as these are handmade designs, no one-design can be exactly the same as another, but then I see this as a good thing!
At the moment my range includes; Phone charms (including Guardian Angel, Yin & Yang and many others!), Bag charms (or Purse Charms, as I think they are known in the US), Pendants, Bracelets and Necklaces - but I hope to add more items as I go along.
Please take a look at my new range of chunky, wooden bead bracelets, in oooh! - many colours! They're chunky and they're made of wood and they're a little bit funky!
Latest Additions: Please take a look at my new bag charms - they have a spiritual feel to them, with Buddha / Peace / Love charms amongst others, all complemented with beautiful glass beads.
I have finally started to add a new range of Hatpins and Lapel Pins - I have taken my inspiration from the Golden Age of the Hatpin - Victorian and Edwardian examples, but with a modern twist! I hope you like them. I have also added some new fun and quirky earrings - Anchors and also Cherries... perfect for the Summer!
Payment Peace of Mind: For secure on-line credit card purchasing we use the PayPal organisation. You do not need to set up a PayPal account to use this system - you can use your credit card as normal - you just have the peace of mind that your transaction is being handled by a company that has become a widely known and trusted name in the world of on-line trading.
To make a purchase on my site, you simply click on the 'buy now' button
and you will be transferred to the secure PayPal site where the
transaction will be processed. After the transaction has concluded you
will normally be asked if you do wish to open a PayPal account for
future transactions, but this is entirely optional! For UK transactions I
can also accept payment by personal cheque or Postal Orders.
Caring for your Jewellery: Avoid spraying perfume or hairspray etc when wearing your jewellery as this can ruin the delicate finish...
Sunlight & dampness can also cause problems, especially with some metallic finishes... Always take care to store your jewellery in a suitable place.
The prices for postage shown are 1st class postage for UK and N. Ireland deliveries.
